Kristen Posey exudes a love for life that is contagious and is reflected in her bright, vivid, and "happy" paintings. Kristen has had no formal training outside of a high school elective Art Class her senior year taught by their talented and beloved teacher, Mr. Kleinhans. Kristen loves to paint what feels good to her soul and makes her smile. She graduated from Georgetown High School in 1992 and went on to earn her B.A. from Baylor University in Communication Sciences and Disorders, as well as her Masters of Science Degree from TWU in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Kristen works fulltime as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Regional Rehab Director for Touchstone Rehab, and when she's not working enjoys spending time with her family, friends, beloved "posse," dogs, playing guitar/singing, painting, relaxing at the coast, and attending church at United Christian Church. Kristen lifts prayers of gratitude to God for blessing her with creative gifts that bring her joy and comfort during quiet hours; credits her amazing parents for always supporting and encouraging her dreams and goals while demonstrating a life of love and respect for all; recognizes and appreciates the guidance and positive influence her family, friends, athletic coaches, teachers, mentors, patients, students, neighbors, clergy, community, and coworkers have had in her life; celebrates the love and support of her life partner who has encouraged creative endeavors for many years; and values a life long friendship with her brother as they've always been each other's biggest fan.
